Two weeks ago, I attended the “New Work – New Purpose” event at the House of New Work. And it was a real purpose booster for me!
It has not only helped me to revisit the Process Purpose ideas of the New Process approach, it has also helped me to focus more on my individual purpose again:
“Creating inspiring experiences – to rethink processes”
→ bringing people together, solving problems and creating memories that inspire for the future – by a human-centric BPM approach.
Why is it important?
Since I discovered my Individual Purpose, its visualization in my office reminds me of it again and again. So looking at the visual in every video conference gives me an impulse why I’m actually here.

It shows the appreciative prudence or thoughtfulness (in German: wertschätzende Besonnenheit). So, on the one hand, it should demonstrate gratitude and thankfulness. Nothing should be taken for granted. On the other hand keeping calm by doing my tasks.
Not only for your own focus and self-reflection, but also for identifying the purpose of the process – as I mentioned in some other blogposts – finding the maximum overlap between the individual purpose and the purpose of the company can be a real game changer!
Have you thought about your individual purpose? And would you be interested in an episode on this topic? Feel free to give me some feedback, I’d love to know!
