ABOUT

Hello, I’m Mirko Kloppenburg. I have been working in several process management positions for 20 years and „Higher, faster, further“ has always been my target. – Until I realized that we weren’t getting any further that way. To get to the next level, it is time to rethink processes and to focus on the people, now!

To start this, I have linked the often fuzzy New Work ideas with tangible processes. As symbiosis of Process Management and New Work, the “New Process” approach was created. It adds a human-centric mindset and inspiring experiences to the already proven BPM tools and methods we know from the past.

I created the NewProcessLab.com as a platform to build a community, conduct experiments, and share experiences. The NewProcessLab.com is driven by the purpose to empower you to rethink your process. – All the tools, methods and best practices here will help you to push your process to the next level.

I invite you to join the community, shape the future of process management and rethink processes together!

New Process Principles

We believe in the power of human-centric processes. We rethink processes based on the New Process Principles:

INSPIRE PEOPLE FOR EXCELLENT PROCESSES

We share the purpose of process management, enable people and create the basis for excellent processes by implementing the process management fundamentals.

TRUST THE PEOPLE WORKING IN AND ON THE PROCESS

We design processes that guarantee people the freedom to make independent decisions.

INVOLVE THE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE PROCESS INTO THE WORK ON THE PROCESS

We create transparency and ask all involved parties for their advice.

FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PEOPLE IN THE PROCESS

We provide formats for training of the people in the process and facilitate sharing of experience.

DESIGN COOPERATION IN AND ON
THE PROCESS TO MEET PEOPLE’S NEEDS

We act as role models for open cooperation and create the best possible environment for the people.

ENCOURAGE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION THROUGH PROCESSES

We are sensitive to the uniqueness of people and their needs. We are aware of different cultures and generations of the people and see these specialties as enrichment to be incorporated into process diversity.

DISRUPT ESTABLISHED PROCESSES

We are courageous to question and radically redesign well-established processes.

GIVE MEANING TO THE PROCESS

Together with the people, we work out „why“ a process is meaningful and create a basis for joint action. – Also for the process of process management itself.
